Shahane Zurabova is a unique talent and has an enchanting stage presence. A number of renowned critics have confirmed that fact. She holds prizes and awards from various national and international competitions:

She has had multiple performances in her career as soloist and chamber musician in well-known concerts series and international festivals: The Society of Musical Theatre, Vienna(Austria), “Le Foyer”, Lisbon (Portugal) as well as the Gafesjian Center for the Arts in Yerevan (Armenia), Opéra de Mauritius (Mu), as well as in concert halls in Warsaw (Poland) including a performance at the notable Mieczyslaw Weinberg Project.
She was born in Yerevan, where she captured the public at a young age due to he technically brilliant performances and tremendously convincing interpretations. Her first victory at a competition was at the age of ten years.
After graduation at the Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory with honors, she was admitted to the Higher Musical School in Basel, Switzerland in the piano class of prof. Adrian Oetiker. Shahane Zurabova graduated from the Master’s department of Musical Performance and was awarded the Pedagogical Diploma.
She has taken part in well-known international courses such as the Imola Piano Academy (Italy) under the tutelage of Vovka Ashkennazy and Boris Petrushansky.
She has also participated in various masterclasses with outstanding musicians such as Piotr Anderszawski, Stephen Kovacevic, Ivan Monighetti, Gerard Wyss, Adrian Oetiker and Filippo Gamba.
Since 2014, she has regularly been invited to Switzerland to take part in the “Goppisberger Music Festival and Academy” as a piano soloist and professor of chamber music (www.goppisbergermusikwochen.ch).
